We all know that the best way to save money is to spend less than you earn. That is the number one rule of #Howtosavemoola. Unfortunately, that is easier said than done. We live in a world where we are all guilty of spending more than we earn.
Today, we will be discussing three survey applications that help you earn a bit more. Perhaps, it can give you a sense of how difficult it is to make money hence you will spend less.
Here is a little background story regarding my apps experience. I’ve been trying to earn money from apps for almost two months, nearing three. There are some useful apps and some not-so-great ones. Perhaps, in the future, we can discuss the not-so-great ones, but today we will be talking about the ones that work.
Here are the pros and cons of three apps that earn or save you money:
What is SurveyMonkey?
SurveyMonkey is a tool that allows you to launch online survey projects but who cares. We are consumers, not producers, so let’s skip this part.
If you want to know more about being a producer, click here for more information about how to produce a survey.
The app is legitimate and many companies use the app to create consumer surveys and polls. For us, consumer, there are many different types, but limited, surveys. When taking the survey it doesn’t waste your time. It’s easy to finish each survey or poll.
When I started rewards, I wasn’t really into it, but this is the first app that gave me an Amazon gift card for $5.15. When I got the email for the code, I was like “Woah…it works…cool.”
Questions are short and sweet
Only need to earn $5 to redeem
Gives an extra $0.15
Easy to navigate
High market share yields many integrations
Mobile application eases the monitoring of survey status
There aren’t many surveys
Can only redeem an Amazon gift card
If I was to rate this, it would be 4.5/5 only because there aren’t many surveys.
What Is Surveys On The Go?
Survey On The Go linked mainly with the entertainment industry along with other companies who pay you for your opinions. Unlike any other survey applications on the market, it pays cash, not points. Chicka-Ching!
I started Surveys On The Go a while back, perhaps a month in half and I am at $8.40. I have not cashed out, because I did not achieve the $10.00 minimum. but I do like the application.
The questions are short and sweet.
Need only $10 to redeem reward
Redeem Amazon gift card, Visa, Paypal, or Starbucks
Can earn $0.10 even if you aren’t qualified for surveys
Easy to navigate
A minimum amount of surveys
I would give this one a 4.5/5, due to the minimum amount of surveys.
What is InboxDollars?
InboxDollars is an earn cash application, where obviously, you earn cash for sharing your opinions or completing surveys.
InboxDollars is the third survey application that I still keep on my phone. I have not cashed out yet because I needed a minimum of $30.00 and I’m at $13.97. Unlike the first two surveys, there is a lot more survey on this app, but here is the rabbit in the hole – I hope someone got this. You are more likely to not qualify for most of these surveys, and the surveys are much longer. There is another downside, which is you spend your time on these surveys, by answering questions, but then you found out you’re not a match. You legitimately spend a good 2-3 minutes to find out “No, we are going with someone else” – talk about a waste of valuable time.
It’s like dating someone and they decided to go with someone else.
Anyways, they give you spins, but the majority of the time it lands on coins – which you can save up to scratch cards and earn money (Yay! – only if most of the rewards aren’t $0.02 or $0.05) or it lands it on “No Win.” I sincerely hope they fix that, but bright side – no advertisement.
Surveys are lengthy
Takes a long time to save up coins
Scratch cards rewards are a bust.
Easy to navigate
I would give this a 3.5/5.0 because I was upset how I spend my time on some surveys only to find out I was not qualified. There is also the fact that you need $30.00 to cash out.
